Married At First Sight (MAFS) star Chris Robinson has sounded off on “offensive” fellow intruder Tyson Gordon, after his controversial opinions on gay relationships made waves in the experiment and among fans.
ICYMI, MAFS newcomer Tyson came in guns blazing as one of multiple intruders in this week’s episodes, causing a stir with his stance on wokeness and “traditional” marriage roles, as well as his thoughts on President Donald Trump and same-sex couples.

Since joining the show, Tyson has said (among other things), that he didn’t want gay men “anywhere near” him, that queerness is “very much in your face” nowadays, and that his comments are fine because he “has gay friends”. Yeah, right.
The topic was particularly relevant for Chris, since he and husband Sam Stanton became MAFS’ fourth-ever same-sex couple with their wedding episode on Tuesday night.
Now, Chris has reacted to all the comments while explaining what’s in store for Tyson as the experiment unfolds.
“[Tyson] said he’s not homophobic but in the same breath he also said ‘I don’t care about gays, do what you want, but do it behind closed doors or keep it out of my face’,” Chris told PEDESTRIAN.TV.
“For me, that’s like telling a straight person to keep it out of my face or keep it behind closed doors. So yeah, I’m sorry but that’s a bit offensive.”

While Tyson was partially criticised by the participants during the Dinner Party, Chris said there’s another “whooping” coming for him in future episodes.
“You’ll see Sam and I go kind of in [on Tyson]. Tyson gets a bit of a serving from the both of us as well as a couple of the other cast members. We give him a bit of a whoop,” Chris said.
Although he’s only freshly joined the experiment, Chris has already captured fans with his story of pursuing fatherhood via surrogacy — something he withheld from Sam during their wedding and honeymoon episodes.
Providing an update this week, Chris told PEDESTRIAN.TV that he had welcomed a “happy and healthy” daughter, but shared a heartbreaking update about his second surrogate.
“There was a bit of an issue around my surrogate journey. [We] had a couple of embryos and the surrogate unfortunately lost one of them, so it was a bit of a sad moment,” he said.

We’ll have to wait and see how Chris’ plans for children plays out in upcoming episodes, but in a MAFS season of diabolical Dinner Parties, abrupt exits and, well, Tyson, his fatherhood journey is at least one bright spot.
