Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 groom Scott McCristal has officially hard-launched his new girlfriend following his tumultuous breakup with reality TV wife Gia Fleur.
There’s no doubt that Scott and Gia were one of the most talked about couples in this year’s round of MAFS. But now, with things all done and dusted, and the pair no longer on speaking terms, it appears that Scott has officially moved on from the pain of the Ouch Couch into a new relationship.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the reality TV groom announced he was in a loving relationship with fitness influencer and cosmetic injector Brienna Stockdale.
In an adorable IG dump, Scott shared loved-up pics with the fitfluencer alonside the caption, “found you”.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the 2026 MAFS participants revealed that they’ve been dating since the start of the year, and that they’ve actually met prior to his stint on reality TV, admitting that Brienna “did [his] Botox”. Scott also admitted that they’ve only made things official last week.
“I don’t want to hide it anymore,” Scott told the publication regarding the announcement of their relationship.
“I want to be able to show my girlfriend, because I’m proud of her and I’m proud of the relationship I have.”
Are Gia Fleur and Scott McCristal still friends?
Well, to make a long story short: no.
To give you a quick recap, Scott’s new relationship with Brienna comes on the heels of his viral ‘marriage’ with Gia. At the start, Gia and Scott were going well, even dubbing themselves a power couple at one point of the experiment.
But things came crashing down when Scott admitted he couldn’t be truthful with Gia, fearing her reaction to the truth. He also felt like he had pressure to say “I love you” back to Gia when he wasn’t ready.
Despite their woes, the duo stayed in the experiment, which led them to the Final Test. While Scott refused to participate in meeting his alternative match, Gia heavily flirted with hers. But before Scott and Gia could watch how the task played out together, Gia left the experiment early… oh so she claimed.
But in between that mess, Scott was given a front row seat to Gia’s behaviour during the Final Test, and he broke down.
“That’s actually embarassing,” Scott said.
“This is my answer. I feel sorry for you, Gia, but we’re done… she’s just fucked me over.”
At the Final Dinner Party, it was revealed that Gia lied about leaving the experiment as she crashed the soirée at the last minute. Unfortunately, for Gia, Scott was over her antics, and the pair officially broke up after a bit of back and forth at the dinner table.
