A reputed Israeli crime boss who once claimed his Bentley made him a target for police has been shot dead at point-blank range outside a petrol station near Caesarea.
Yanis Yushvaev, 40, was described by Israeli media and police sources as the leader of an organised crime group associated with the country's Caucasus community. He was leaving a business with two other men when a gunman followed them and opened fire from behind.
