Madurai: Kodikulam village wins Rs 10 lakh social harmony award

Madurai

MADURAI: Kodikulam village in Chellampatti panchayat union has been awarded ₹10 lakh by the district administration for communal harmony and for ending the practice of untouchability.

Madurai district collector Dr Aneesh Sekhar presented the cash prize to panchayat president Vanitha Raman at a function held in the village, 30km from Madurai city, on Thursday.
