Madonna has come out with a social media confession that has left her fans more than a little confused. The Queen of Pop, 64, let her fans know that she has never been circumcised, a surgery done to male genitalia.
Taking to Instagram, the Material Girl crooner told her 18.5 million followers in a puzzling story on Thursday.
Against a black screen she wrote: "I have a confession to make," which was then followed by a number of selfies with the unusual confession being scrawled one word at a time.
In the final photo, Madonna removes her sheer skirt and placing it over her head.
Over the images she penned: "I was not circumcised."
Recently Madonna has been using social media more to give fans a closer look at her life and give other confessions - including a video that has had the popstar be accused of queer-baiting.
The songstress shared a playful TikTok video online where she made the suggestion that she identifies as gay, in the clip she tries to throw a pair of hot pink knickers into a bin in a bathroom.
She took aim and missed by a considerable distance, with the caption being "If I miss, I'm Gay!" fans have taken this to be the star's coming out.
Some of her fans congratulated the Vogue singer and described the moment as 'historic' but others were quick to accuse Madonna of queer-baiting her audience.
It remains unclear whether the TikTok video was actually a coming out confession or if it was simply a joke intended to go viral, Madonna has historically kissed female performers in the public arena.
Comedian Alan Carr since came out with a satirical video poking fun at the viral. moment, notably the TV host attempted to imitate Madonna's bleached brows by covering them in toothpaste.

The Like A Prayer singer has been linked romantically with a number of male stars too, including Dennis Rodman and Vanilla Ice. The Queen of Pop was married to Sean Penn for four years in the eighties and she later walked the aisle with Guy Ritchie. The pair were married between 2000 and 2008.
