Madonna showed off her youthful appearance as she posed with her children while taking a break from rehearsals for her upcoming 40th anniversary world tour.
In one snap shared to Instagram, the mum-of-six can be seen posing with 10-year-old daughter Estere.
Madonna wore her red hair in plaits and sported a red bomber jacket worn over a blue plaid shirt.
Another upload sees Madonna’s son David Banda, 17, join them for a hug with the camera angle from behind.
Her 17-year-old daughter Mercy James can be seen in an additional frame, sat at the piano in the rehearsal space.
The new images come after the Material Girl singer, 64, recently admitted to having plastic surgery when fans commented that she looked unrecognisable at this year’s Grammy Awards.
The icon drew criticism due to her smooth visage, sculpted cheeks and plump pout as she presented an award at the annual award show.
“Madonna needs to stop with the plastic surgery and embrace the aging process. She’s nearly unrecognizable at this point,” wrote one person on Twitter.
“Madonna looking ‘refreshed’ lol..’ , remarked another, while a third commented: “So, I am just now watching the #GRAMMYs. Madonna doesn’t quite look like @Madonna to me.”
This didn’t go down well with Madonna, who later hit out at her critics in a lengthy Instagram post and accused them of “ageism and misogyny”.
She said her appearance was due to a “closeup” from a “long lens camera” that distorted her face and made it appear rounder and puffier than it actually was.
Acknowledging that she had gone under the knife in another post, she shared a photo, writing: “Look how cute I am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol.”
She didn’t disclose what tweaks or procedures she had undergone.
