BHOPAL: Here's some good news for those 'wild' at heart. The Centre has given in-principle approval to develop Madhav National Park in Shivpuri district as a tiger reserve. And chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has asked officers to consider notification of Ratapani as a tiger reserve, if locals are willing.
When these two sites are notified, Madhya Pradesh will become the state with the maximum number of tiger reserves. There are six tiger reserves and 10 national parks as of today.
