BHOPAL: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Sunday that the growth rate of the state at 19.7 percent has been the highest in the country at current prices. Agriculture has contributed the most to this growth.
CM said, Burhanpur has made a special place in the production of spices, where turmeric, ginger, coriander, onion are being produced in large quantities. Burhanpur is also a leader in banana, sugarcane and cotton. The economic empowerment of the farmer will be possible through diversification of crops.
