Madeleine McCann search starts as police divers enter reservoir

Police looking for Madeleine McCann have started searching a reservoir around 30 miles from where she disappeared.

Officers were seen entering the water at the Barragem do Arade reservoir in Portugal on Tuesday morning. The site is about about 30 miles from Praia da Luz, where Madeleine went missing in 2007.

Tents have been erected on the banks of the reservoir and officers from Portugal, Germany and the UK were seen holding morning briefings on Tuesday. A police motor boat was sent into the water with two officers on board.
