Ollie Locke says he still wants to become a dad despite tragically losing his twins via surrogate last year.
The Made In Chelsea star, 34 and his husband Gareth revealed the devastating news about the miscarriage when they shared a photo of a tiny bath robe with Baby Locke Locke embossed on it on Instagram.
Captioning the snap, Ollie explained that "through the course of nature, at 6 weeks and 2 days it stopped growing and had gone".
However the star has now revealed that it was in fact two babies who had sadly died.
Initially Ollie broke the happy news that the couple were five weeks pregnant during the Made In Chelsea finale.
However he then revealed: "Then a couple of weeks later we had to call the producers and say ‘we’ve lost the babies’ - it was two babies - and they asked if we wanted them to scrap the episode.
"I said absolutely not as I felt it was important to let people know that there are difficult times before happily ever after," reports The Sun.
Despite their heartbreak, Ollie and Gareth are determined to become parents.
Ollie continued: "We're all holding each other's hands. We're hoping that next year will be the year we get the baby we want and deserve and need."
Speaking about how their loss has affected the couple's relationship, Ollie admitted the experience had 'pulled them apart slightly', revealing they had already spent £100,000 on the surrogate process.
The TV personality recently appeared on the Boots Taboo Talk podcast hosted by Vogue Williams, and spoke of the need to be able to access accurate information about the fertility process.
"There is advice out there but sometimes it’s expensive and the last thing you want to do is to try to spend £1k on a phone call," Ollie said.
"It’s what we did at the beginning. There are a lot of people out there who are trying to make money from this.
Ollie and Gareth flew to Cyprus in October with their surrogate for a second go at IVF.
Sadly, their baby journey didn't work out as they had hoped, but the couple's determination to keep trying has inspired fans and followers alike.
Replying to Ollie's post about his tragic loss, one fan wrote: "You are so strong and amazing. Sending you all the love in the world. Inspiring words as always.
While another said: "So sorry for your loss, but your time will come."
