Made In Chelsea fans were treated to a sweet announcement on Wednesday's episode as Maeva D'Ascanio and James Taylor revealed the gender of their unborn baby.
The pair couldn't hide their excitement during the reveal which was filmed for the popular E4 reality series. Maeva, 30, and James, 26, decided to announce their baby's gender via a cake reveal.
And the loved-up couple were delighted as they cut into the baked goods to reveal blue sponge to indicate they were having a boy. Maeva couldn't look as she cut into the cake and counted to three before dad-to-be James gushed: "I can see blue. It's a boy!"
Maeva excitedly responded to her beau, saying: "I knew it! Oh my god, It’s a boy."
James continued: "I actually can’t believe we’re having a little boy." He then sweetly whispering to his fiancée, telling her how much he loves her.
The pair revealed the news in a picturesque setting with no-one else but the two of them present. The sun was shining as they enjoyed fresh juice in front of a windmill.
And shortly after the episode had aired, Maeva posted the amazing news on her Instagram and included more intimate snaps from the reveal, including a full view of the blue inside the cake and a selfie of the pair as they tucked into it.
She captioned her post: "It's. A………..BOY!" followed by a string of blue heart emojis.
Rossella Drake, who is married to former TOWIE star Chris Drake, was among those leaving congratulatory messages on her upload, writing: "Yayy," followed by more blue hearts.
James and Maeva had been running a poll on their social media accounts prior to the announcement being aired, with 47 per cent of followers guessing the correct gender for the baby.
The new arrival will be each of the stars' first child and they recently opened up on how the experience was helping them feel more connected to each other. Speaking to OK! Magazine, James said: "A month in, I turned around to her and was like, 'I feel even more connected to you,' and she feels the same. I don’t think you can do anything more together than create a life.
"It’s part of both of you and is the best thing I can humanly imagine right now that you can do with someone you love. I didn’t realise I could love her more. She’s carrying our child – that’s so special."
