Any time someone makes a list ranking all-time NBA greats using any criteria, one thing is absolutely certain: There will be a large number of people who disagree.
Such was the case with Stephen A. Smith‘s list of his five most influential players in the history of the league. In fact, the criticism came from within his own network. Fellow ESPNer Chris “Mad Dog” Russo took issue with the number of the players named. The lone former Boston Celtic on Smith’s list made Russo’s as well, interestingly.
