French President Emmanuel Macron underlined Franco-American cooperation with a tour of NASA headquarters on the first day of his three-day state visit to the United States, but tough talks on trade and China are expected on Thursday when he meets Joe Biden for the main part of his trip.
President Macron, who arrived late Tuesday with his wife Brigitte, joined Vice President Kamala Harris at the NASA facility in Washington on Wednesday to discuss cooperation in space.
