American rapper Macklemore announced Monday that he was dropped from British singer Ed Sheeran’s US stadium tour after saying "Free Palestine" during a September 4 concert in New Jersey. The Grammy winner’s removal follows pressure from venue owners, including New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, over his criticism of Israel’s actions in Gaza.

American rapper Macklemore said on Monday he was dropped from pop star Ed Sheeran's US tour after his pro-Palestinian comments and "Free Palestine" remarks during a September 4 concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
