Machine Gun Kelly has revealed he was electrocuted while performing during the Super Bowl weekend.

The 32-year-old singer - real name Colson Baker - was headlining the Coors Light Bird’s Nest concert at Scottsdale’s 2023 Waste Management Phoenix on Friday when his hair suddenly stuck straight up. He later took to social media to explain what had happened.

The moment was captured on video by one concert goer who shared it online.

Kelly reposted the clip on his Instagram story and YouTube channel writing: “Yooo. I got electrocuted and my hair stood up.”

He also tweeted about the shock: “Getting electrocuted during a performance was a first for me…but the hair’s cool.”

TMZ has confirmed that no medical assistance was needed at the scene. The musician went on to attend Drake’s Super Bowl party.

The incident came just before his fiancée Megan Fox sparked rumours that the couple have split.

Never ones to shy away from a PDA-filled photo opportunities, they got engaged in January 2022 after just over a year of dating.

Question marks over their relationship status were raised after the Transformers actress, 36, deleted all trace of the musician from her Instagram account.

Her most recent post also cryptically featured two lines from Beyonce’s 2016 hit Pray You Catch Me, which read: “You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath.”

Pray You Catch Me features on Beyoncé’s Lemonade album and is believed to be inspired by her reaction to allegations that husband Jay-Z had been unfaiful.

Fox fanned the flames further by unfollowing everyone she had previously followed, including Kelly, except for three people, Eminem, Timothée Chalamet and Harry Styles.
