Machete gang follow Leeds dad home from Christmas shopping and attack him in front of his baby son

A Leeds mum has been left in shock after her son, Connor, and his family were attacked by a gang of masked men after returning home from Christmas shopping.

On his way back from a shop, Connor's mum, Laura Jones, said he drove past a car which was blocking part of the road in Bramley. This car then began to follow him home before stopping outside his house.

They then accused Connor of damaging their car and began to demand money while his five-month-old baby and partner were locked in the car. He was punched in the face and threatened by one of the men with a machete.

The men also attacked his car with his family still inside, smashing the windows and causing glass to fall on his partner and young daughter, scratching her.

Laura Jones said: "One picked a brick up and has gone and thrown the brick through the driver's window which has hit my daughter-in-law on the knee and then showered glass all over my five-month-old grandson."

The attack was caught on video which was then sent over to the police.

West Yorkshire Police said: "Police in Leeds are investigating following a report of an alleged assault, which occurred yesterday, Sunday 18 December. The incident is reported to have occurred around 4.20pm on Raynville Rise, Bramley, when a man punched in the face by another male. It is believed, the man, in his twenties, suffered minor injuries.

"Enquiries are ongoing regarding the circumstances of the incident."
