A crash has sparked traffic chaos after a van blew onto its side on a busy Scots motorway.
Emergency services raced to the M8 at Bishopton near junction 30 at around 1.30pm on Wednesday, February 23.
The collision, involving two vehicles, is causing delays in the area for drivers heading eastbound.
An eyewitness told Glasgow Live that a van has blown onto its side, blocking one of the two lanes on the motorway.
Traffic Scotland warned motorists this afternoon that traffic is heavy following the incident.
They tweeted: "M8 Bishopton Eastbound restricted at J30 due to an RTC. Police on scene. Traffic is heavy in the area".
Police Scotland has confirmed no one was injured, with recovery underway following the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 1.30pm on Wednesday, 23 February, to a report of a crash on the M8 eastbound near junction 30 at Bishopton, involving two vehicles.
"Recovery is being arranged."
