A crash on the M8 eastbound by Hermiston Gait has caused disruption and delays for drivers as emergency services respond to the scene.
An update from Traffic Scotland on Twitter has shown that traffic is queuing up as Police Scotland respond to the crash on the busy road at around 11:45am on Tuesday 31.
Traffic travelling eastbound along the M8 at Hermiston Gate appears to be severely slowing down in the image shared by Traffic Scotland on their social media.

They reported that part of the well used road was blocked due to the crash and multiple responders at the scene.
In their Tweet they said: “Partially blocked Eastbound at Hermiston Gait due to a collision
“Traffic beginning to build on the approach.”
It is not yet known the cause of the crash or whether any motorists were injured during the incident.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
