M6, M53, M56, M57 and M58 motorway closures beginning October 31

Parts of the M6, M53, M56 and M57 will close over the coming week.

Motorways in Merseyside will see closures this week (Monday, October 31 - Sunday, November 6) as National Highways continue to repair the regions roads. This week there will be weekend closures overnight on the M6 which are expected to cause delays for motorists.

National Highways have now completed repairs between junctions one (Tarbock Interchange) and two (Prescot) of the M57. Despite attempts to repair the road in previous years, the carriageway continued to deteriorate with potholes and other issues forming regularly.
