Parts of the M6, M53 and M56 will close over the coming week.
Motorways in Merseyside will see closures this week (Monday, January 2 - Sunday, January 8) as National Highways continue to repair the regions roads. This week there will be weekend closures overnight on the M6, M53, and M56 which are expected to cause delays for motorists.
Over the festive season National Highways lifted 900 miles of roadworks to make sure people could "enjoy" traveling to see family and friends over Christmas and New Year.
