Parts of the M6 and the M53 will close over the coming week.
Motorists on Merseyside's motorways will see closures this week (Monday, March 27 to Sunday, April 2). There are no weekend closures planned later this week, but there are plenty of overnight closures, mainly on the M6 and M53.
Here are the motorway closures you can expect in Merseyside this week. This list is subject to changes from National Highways.

Monday, March 27
The M6 northbound will be closed between junctions J23 (Haydock) and J26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound will be closed between junctions J9 (Station Road) and J10 (Stanlow) between 9pm and 6am
Tuesday, March 28
The M6 southbound will be closed between junctions J20 (Lymm) and J19 (Tabley) between 8pm and 6am
The M6 northbound will be closed between junctions J23 (Haydock) and J26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound will be closed between junctions J9 (Station Road) and J10 (Stanlow) between 9pm and 6am
Wednesday, March 29
The M6 southbound will be closed between junctions J20 (Lymm) and J19 (Tabley)between 8pm and 6am
The M6 northbound will be closed between junctions J23 (Haydock) and J26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 southbound will be closed between junctions J9 (Station Road) and J10 (Stanlow) between 9pm and 6am.
Thursday, March 30
The M6 southbound will be closed between junctions J20 (Lymm) and J19 (Tabley) between 8pm and 6am
The M6 northbound will be closed between junctions J23 (Haydock) and J26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 6am.
