Sections of the M6 and M53 will be closed with delays expected ahead of Easter.
Sections of the M6 and M53 will be closed this week for essential roadworks and National Highways has warned drivers to "expect disruption. This week (April 11 - April 16) will see five junctions of the M6 southbound closed for three days.
There are no road closures scheduled to take place on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday due to the Easter weekend.

Here's a list of all the motorway closures you can expect this week:
Monday, April 11
The M6 southbound will be closed between junctions 21 (Woolston Interchange) and 26 (Orrell Interchange) between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 will be closed between junctions two (New Brighton) and three (Moreton Spur) north and southbound between 8pm and 6am
Tuesday, April 12
The M6 southbound between junctions 21 (Woolston Interchange) and 22 (Winwick Interchange) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 will be closed between junctions two (New Brighton) and three (Moreton Spur) north and southbound between 8pm and 6am
Wednesday, April 13
The M6 southbound between junctions 21 (Woolston Interchange) and 22 (Winwick Interchange) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 will be closed between junctions two (New Brighton) and three (Moreton Spur) north and southbound between 8pm and 6am
Thursday, April 14 - Sunday, April 16
