A warning has been issued to drivers after a road was flooded due to a burst mains water pipe.
Yesterday afternoon a mains water pipe burst just off Junction 14 of the M56, on the junction of Ince Lane and the A5117 near Ellesmere Port. The road was flooded, and its surface raised by the flooding, causing it to crack heavily.
Yesterday the road was cordoned off with the help of police due to the flooding. Works are currently underway to repair the damage and diversions are in place.
