A driver caught hogging the middle lane while there was no other traffic on the road was pursued by police for nearly 10 miles. Bemused traffic officers followed the vehicle for more than 16 kilometres, just under 10 miles, after spotting it driving in the middle lane of the M56 eastbound, despite the carriageway being clear.
