M5 ‘blocked’ as huge crash sparks lane closures with drivers hit with long delays

The M5 reopened this afternoon after a serious crash involving a single car led to hours of delays in the morning.

Motorists were warned of heavy traffic following the collision at around 5.40am, which saw a car come off the carriageway in Gloucestershire.
