Shoppers at Marks and Spencer have been left impressed with a black dress described as "gorgeous" online.
High street giant M&S is incredibly popular among shoppers thanks to its wide range of on-trend fashion, homeware, accessories and more.
Like many retailers, Marks and Spencer makes use of a range of Instagram pages to keep shoppers updated on all its newest stock and product launches.
Many M&S staff members, known as "insiders", boast their own Instagram pages where they share how they style certain items.
And with Valentine's Day on the horizon, many shoppers are on the hunt for fashionable items they can wear for the special day.
M&S staff "insider" Sam Briones caused a stir on Instagram after sharing a photo of herself sporting its Linen Blend Square Neck Midi Dress, Liverpool Echo reports.
The dress, which costs £29.50, is cut in a regular fit. Its A-line silhouette falls to a midi length, and it's finished in a sleeveless strappy design.
Captioning an image of herself in the dress, Sam wrote: "There’s a special date in my diary that’s fast approaching & I’ve been thinking about what I’ll wear. Come to think of it Valentine’s Day is just around the corner too!
"I've become so used to wearing floaty dresses & boots/trainers recently & I feel I’ve forgotten about the extra feminine side of me. A #LBD some heels & some red lipstick, has reminded me that keeping it simple can still be effective & that the girly side of me is still in there somewhere!
"This little black dress that I plan to dress up and down (perhaps with a wee oversized shirt) is a little low in stock as I share this post… you may find it in stores too!"
The outfit proved popular on the hit social media platform, racking up almost 500 likes. Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.
