First debuting a range of cotton bras in 1926, M&S has been synonymous with lingerie for a century. Now, the British retailer has announced the latest evolution of its underwear: a range of sculpting, invisible and seamless pieces that rival Kim Kardashian’s Skims.
The store has always been at the forefront of lingerie innovation. In the 1920s and 30s, its collections were built for the flat-chested flapper silhouette – it wasn’t until the 1950s when small, medium and large cup sizes were introduced. Lyrca then changed the game in the 60s, helping with comfort and shape.
