A Lanarkshire theme park will welcome visitors for a special preview weekend next week, ahead of reopening for the 2023 season at the beginning of April.
M&D’s will host its preview event on March 25 and 26, with outdoor rides open from noon until 2.30pm and 3pm to 5.30pm.
Wristbands allowing unlimited access are now on sale online for an exclusive price of £10 if purchased 24 hours in advance, as staff get ready to welcome the public.
The theme park then opens for the new season on Saturday, April 1, and will be open at weekends and on school holiday dates for the following three months – before opening every day throughout the summer break.
Jensen Taylor Connelly of M&D’s said: “It’s always a landmark date in our calendar as we look forward to welcoming visitors once again; we've been busy recruiting new staff and have opened Scotland’s largest Monterery Jack’s restaurant on site.
“Planning is well underway for Easter activities including a family silent disco, and there will be lots more additions to come.”
Theme park wristbands, costing £12 on the day, offer access to outdoor rides including Captain’s Curse, Big Apple, the Dancing Galleons, Twister, Rip Tide and the Pirate Train.
Further attractions at M&D’s include two-level aerial adventure course Walk the Plank sky trail, the Devil’s Island adventure golf course, indoor rainforest Amazonia, plus bowling and soft play.
