Lynsey Bennett has opened up after an "emotional weekend" with her sister and daughter Hailee, before her treatment continued on Monday.
The mother-of-two is in Germany at a special facility where she hopes to undergo treatment for the next month.
The 33-year-old from Killoe was diagnosed with invasive cervical cancer in 2017.
The treatment began on Monday, with Lynsey explaining how grateful she was for the "efficiency" of the clinic.
She told her 60,000 Instagram followers: "I am truly blessed on this trip to not be starting from scratch of where I was a year ago when I was diagnosed again in November 2020 before I started in Mexico.
"Efficiency over here is unbelievable" she continued, explaining how she was told on Monday that her veins were "very bad" before getting a full fresh look at everything by the Friday.
Lynsey also paid tribute to the staff that are dealing with her throughout her treatment, adding: "The staff and their happy attitude for life no matter your situation and friendly caring manner is a tonic no body stressed or overwhelmed."
And the staff played a big role in Lynsey's time with her daughter Hailee.
She explained: "To say it was emotional getting to see my baby for the weekend would be an understatement so grateful to have a clinic in the EU so close to home (2hours flight) we had such an amazing weekend… so grateful to my little sister for bringing her over
"It was unbelievably hard to see her so upset saying goodbye the wonderful Martina here at the clinic gave her a teddy bear she made thankfully in a way that helped softened having to go, because she had something to hold otherwise I don’t think would of got her in taxi but didn’t stop the tears and the pictures and texts from her saying she didn’t want to go and that’s she’s crying
"If I do get to come back to this clinic in the future, I really hope that it can be a times when the girls are off, and that they can come and stay with me if they want for some of it."
