A luxury yacht dealer who was jailed for 12 years for his part in a cocaine plot is on the run from prison.
Dean Woods did not return after a period of day release from HMP Sudbury in Derbyshire, an open prison, on Saturday, November 19. Woods, who is from Old Swan was a high-level and "highly-trusted" member of a drug gang who undertook 30 trips to deliver cocaine or collect bags of cash.
The 40-year-old controlled others including associates in Nottingham and Newcastle who were stopped by police when in possession of drugs or large amounts of cash. He was jailed for 12 years in February 2020.

Now police are on the hunt for him, and have warned he could be back in Liverpool. He is described as around 5ft 11in tall, of medium build with short brown hair and brown eyes and speaks with a Liverpool accent.
