Luxury streetwear brand unveils new collection

Last Wednesday, Team Wang design and Club 21 (Thailand) held a big party to celebrate the second anniversary of the luxury streetwear label and unveil the Sparkles-Mudance collection at Gaysorn Urban Resort's The Crystal Box and Sky Terrace.

Jackson Wang and Henry Cheung co-founded the Shanghai-based fashion brand, whose spirit is embodied in the slogan "Know Yourself, Make Your Own History".

The Hong Kong-born Wang is an excellent example of that as he became a K-pop idol rather than a professional fencing athlete.

Today, his solo career, record label and fashion house keep him even busier. As creative director, he normally designs a series of minimalist all-black streetwear featuring "eyelets'' that symbolise connection and cohesion while being a reflection of oneself in all directions.

The Sparkles-Mudance collection surprisingly differs in pastel pink and olive green. Inspired by the peony -- China's national flower -- the floral print whimsically features the tails of tigers.

Peonies bloom on the Invisible Man installation that presents pieces from the new collection. Team Wang design also celebrates summer through beachwear, beach balls and towels as well as other accessories.

The logo has been reworked with the floral print and the eyelets in silver and copper while shimmering decorative details jazz up the designs.

From Aug 4, the summer 2022 collection will be available at the Mudance Bangkok Concept Space at the EmQuartier.
