A luxury hotel on the west coast of Scotland has been voted 4th best in the UK at TripAdvisor's 20th annual Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards.
Following the earlier 2022 releases of the Best of the Best Destinations and Beaches, the latest community-powered ranking reveals the most-loved hotels around the world, with a Scarborough B&B being been named the best-rated B&B in the world for the second consecutive year.
And closer to home in Argyll, just a 90-minute drive away from Glasgow, 5-star venue The Lodge on Loch Goil has been deemed one of the best luxury hotels in the UK, coming in at fourth spot, with fellow Scots stay the Ivybank Lodge in Blairgowie coming in at second place. Meanwhile, in the Small Stays category, the Blairgowrie hotel placed 11th in the world, third in Europe and best in the UK.
