Luxury cruise ship stranded in Greenland for three days finally pulled free

A luxury cruise ship that ran aground in a remote Greenland location with 206 people on board has been pulled free by a trawler, a spokesperson for Denmark’s armed forces said on Thursday.

The Ocean Explorer has 206 passengers on board but ran aground on Monday in Alpefjord, a national park 870 miles (1,400km) northeast of Greenland’s capital Nuuk.
