The ECHO has taken a look inside some of the most luxurious apartments that are up for grabs across the Merseyside region.
The properties on offer include inner-city duplexes with fabulous waterfront views to massive one-level homes set within stunning historic mansions that were built for the merchants of the past. The region has a lot offer those looking for something more manageable than a sprawling house, but no less extravagant.
Near Liverpool's centre overlooking the Mersey is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom two floor duplex in The Colonnades. This is prime real estate when it comes to location - the apartment adjoin the Tate Gallery.

Guests are welcomed into a massive, light entrance hall, while the open plan living space has sweeping river views with a first floor mezzanine leading to a conservatory and private terrace.
Storage space is ample, with built-in wardrobes in most of the bedrooms. The home comes complete with a multi-room sound systems and a double underground parking space. The apartment is on the market with Reeds Rains for £850,000.
Moving down the coast in Formby - an area renowned as a footballers' playground - a penthouse with its own lift is up for grabs.
On the market for a little under £1m, the home on Wicks Lane also boasts a sauna and games room, and has planning permission for a roof terrace.
The massive apartment has three bedrooms and four bathrooms sprawled over 3,500 sq ft and includes a living room mezzanine, along with other luxury extras such as underfloor heating and air conditioning.
In south Liverpool, set within Ye Priory Court in the enviable postcode L25 and adjacent to Allerton Manor Golf Course, is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment with a £580,000 price tag.
With 14 foot ceilings, the apartment gives the impression of a luxury country home. It is quirkily decorated with splashes of colour which contrast the period features such as bare brick, brooding fireplaces and floor to ceiling windows.
The communal hallway looks like it's been plucked straight from a stately home.
Ye Priory Court is a Grade II-listed building constructed in the early 1800s for William Rutson, a Liverpool merchant.
Set in another historic property, this time in Heswall on the Wirral, is a three-bed apartment on the market for £600,000.
The uniquely designed home within the Victorian villa has a massive entrance hall with ornate decorative floor tiles and a miniature library built into the stairs. Inside is a symphony of colour, with hues of blue, splashes of yellow and a deep aubergine bathroom.
The lounge also has its original parquet flooring and French doors leading out onto a sun deck.
The ground of this manor house are also a selling point, with the apartment offering access to a private 'gin terrace', a mature garden area with a herb garden, a pond and an azalea walk.
The apartments are up for grabs alongside numerous new developments in the city. Earlier this month, a Stanley Dock penthouse, near the upcoming Bramley Moore Stadium, sold for a record £570,000.
The Grade II-listed, two-bedroom apartment, is in the Victorian Tobacco Warehouse complex and has a private roof terrace spanning the length of the property and boasting views of the historic surroundings.
Based on the 13th floor of the Tobacco Warehouse, the open plan home has a double reception room, a fully integrated kitchen with marble worktops and a central island and a utility room. The master bedroom benefits from a walk-in wardrobe for extra storage.
The penthouse will be one of 550 loft-style apartments in the revamp of the Victorian warehouses, which forms part of the £250m regeneration of Stanley Dock.
