Cosmetics retailer Lush has increased its wages for UK-based staff in line with the Real Living Wage findings this month.
The pay rise takes effect from this month, bringing hourly pay to £10.90 in the UK and £11.95 in London for all retail employees aged 18 and over. The National Living Wage is currently sat at £10.18 per hour for under 23s and £10.42 per hour for over 23s – with no increase for London weighting.
The brand, which has it head office in Dorset, was recognised as ‘Industry Trailblazer’ for paying the Real Living Wage at the Living Wage Foundation Champion Awards 2022, following 10 years of the company paying staff the Real Living Wage in the UK.
