Luke Williams heaped praise on his side's clinical nature in front of goal following their 4-1 victory over Oldham Athletic this afternoon.
Goals from Cedwyn Scott, Kyle Cameron and Ruben Rodrigues saw the Magpies end 2022 with 111 goals in the calendar year, with 63 of those coming in Williams' short tenure at Meadow Lane so far.
Notts will start 2023 top of the National League, facing David Unsworth's side in their festive double-header at Boundary Park in six days time.

Williams' men scored four goals in a match for the seventh time this season, with three of those coming in Notts' last four fixtures in the National League.
The Notts boss was happy with his side's performance both offensively and defensively against Oldham, but is hopeful that can continue into the second half of the campaign.
"I can't be any more complimentary about the way in which the players have gone about their business for the first half of the season," said Williams.
"Goals win games and we are ferocious around the box, but I am equally as pleased with the way in which the teams works to stop the opposition from creating chances and stopping them having spells of possession with the ball.
"I don't have much cause for complaint and I hope the players can continue that."
The Magpies' second goal came through their captain, with Cameron reacting first to Ed Francis' initial free-kick to finish well from a tight angle.
That goal made Cameron the 14th different scorer for the Magpies this season, with just five outfield players yet to register a goal this campaign which has rubbished any notion that Notts are over-reliant on the goals scored by Macaulay Langstaff.
The National League's top scorer was unavailable for the fixture against the Latics as he continues to recover from an injury sustained against Gateshead.
And while Williams highlighted the 25-year-old's importance to his side, he explained that his side are able to score goals during his absence.
"To score four goals and we didn't have Macca on the pitch is showing enough evidence that we can function.
"We love having Macca in the team because he is so important to us of course, it's impossible to argue that he is the number one striker in the division.
"We need to be able to win games without him and today was proof of that again."
