Luke Evans has revealed he's returning to his roots with an announcement that's delighted fans. The Welsh actor has said he is "thrilled" to be heading back to the stage, where he kicked off his incredible career.
Sharing a video message with his Instagram 3.5 million followers, Luke, who hails from Pontypool, said: "So I don't do a lot of these videos, I'm not great at them but when I do them it's usually because I've got something interesting to tell you and today I do.
"If you know anything about my career you'll know I started on the stage, I did a year treading the boards and loved every minute of it. That was 16 years ago, the last time I did a play in London and I am excited to tell you that I'm going back.

"I am going to be doing a play at the end of this year, in London, and I'm very excited. I'm also very nervous but I'm looking forward to it very much, to be entertaining you where it all began for me back on the West End stage. More information to come on Wednesday, you'll know what the play is by then, and where you can buy tickets."
