CHENNAI: Chennaiyin FC head coach Owen Coyle acknowledged that Lukas Brambilla has "big shoes" to fill, but backed the Brazilian creative midfielder to come up with the goods in the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season.
In the Chennaiyin squad, Brambilla has taken the place of compatriot and fellow attacking midfielder Rafael Crivellaro, who created a huge impact at the club when fit. "Finding a replacement for Rafa was a big challenge. Lukas played at a high level in Cyprus, he did well in one of the more fancied teams (Othellos Athienou FC) in the league," Coyle said on the sidelines of the ISL Season 11 media day in Kochi on Thursday.
