Striker Darwin Nunez has endured a difficult start to life at Liverpool following his £64m transfer from Benfica earlier in the summer.
He arrived on Merseyside in June and despite a promising start with a goal against Manchester City in the Community Shield victory, as well as in the opening league game against Fulham - his form has fizzled out somewhat following a brief suspension.
The Uruguayan saw red after a head butt on Crystal Palace defender Joachim Anderson at Anfield just two games into the campaign. As a result, he was suspended for the league matches against Manchester United, Bournemouth and Newcastle before returning for the Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park earlier this month.
