Luis Palma has been spotted with Celtic cult hero Emilio Izaguirre while on international duty.
The Honduras international is preparing to face Mexico two-legged CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final clash over the next week.
And he met up with fellow countryman Izaguirre, who took to Instagram to post a photo of the two on his Instagram story.
Palma has made a strong start to his Celtic career scoring five goals and providing four assists so far this season.
And he will be hoping to replicate Izaguirre's success at Parkhead. The 37-year-old won seven league titles, three Scottish Cups and two League Cups across during his time at in Glasgow.
Meanwhile, Celtic are reportedly keen on signing FC Nurnberg star Kanji Okunuki.
This is according to Sky Sports Germany, who claim the Hoops are "interested" in the midfielder after scouting the Japanese star "intensively" in recent weeks.
Okunki has scored four goals and provided two assists in the Bundesliga 2 across 15 appearances so far this season.
It is suggested that the Scottish champions are yet to make a formal approach for the Japanese player but he is said to be one of their top targets for the upcoming January transfer window.
The Hoops have had plenty of success in the Asian market over the last few years, with former boss Ange Postecoglou arriving from Yokohama F.Marinos kicking off a detailed recruitment drive from the region.
Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Oh Hyeon-gyu are just some of the success stories to come from Asia and make an impact in Glasgow.
Okunki was also previously a target for Hearts, with sporting director Joe Savage previously stating a deal was close before the player moved to Germany.
He told the Hearts Standard: "We thought we had that done then out of nowhere his agent contacted me to say he is going to FC Nürnberg, they were prepared to offer more money.
"But we’ve got everything agreed!"
