Luis Palma is reportedly set for an iconic Celtic shirt number.
The 23-year-old is on the verge of completing his £3.5million move from Aris in Greece.
The fee has been agreed between the clubs, and the Honduran's arrival is expected to be imminent ahead of a busy transfer deadline week for Brendan Rodgers.
And upon the deal being signed, sealed, and delivered, Diario Diez reports that Palma will be handed the No.7 jersey.
It's claimed that the winger has originally requested to wear No.17. However, fellow summer signing Maik Nawrocki has already picked that number.
So, it seems Palma will wear No.7, which was vacated by Giorgos Giakoumakis in January when he joined Atlanta United.
It's a famous number for the Hoops. Club legends such as Henrik Larsson, Jimmy Johnstone, and Kenny Dalglish have all represented that kit.
Palma is expected to be officially announced as a new Celtic signing tomorrow, with a medical taking place in London today.
Meanwhile, Hyunjun Yang has played down the importance of this weekend's derby against Rangers.
"I think it's just a normal league match,” Yang said. “I will train ahead of the match as usual.
"I was just told there will be no Celtic fans in the stadium and it will be a tough game, but I will work hard ahead of it.
"I definitely think there are no times that are always good and when something bad comes, there is also good coming too. So I am looking forward to this week.”
