Luis Diaz is yet to train with his new Liverpool teammates given he is away on international duty with Colombia, but there is much anticipation for his arrival back in Merseyside.
The tricky winger had caught the eye of a number of top European clubs, including two Premier League sides in the form of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
In two-and-a-half seasons in Portugal, Diaz made 125 appearances and scored 41 goals.
This season alone has seen the winger notch a stellar 14 goals in just 18 Primeira Liga games.
Spurs reportedly felt aggrieved by the way their deal for Diaz was 'hijacked' by Liverpool, but in the end their complaints count for very little while the Reds celebrate getting such a huge move over the line midway through the season.

Diaz cost Jurgen Klopp's side around £50m plus add-ons but given the 25-year-old has already proven he can get the better of Premier League opposition after stellar performances against both Manchester City and Liverpool themselves in recent Champions League clashes.
During the group stage contest against the Reds earlier this season in the group stage, Diaz made an impression on Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, the Greek international explained how he is a huge fan of the Reds newest recruit and is eager to train and play alongside him.
"Everybody is looking forward to seeing him with the Reds," the deputy left-back explained.
"Obviously when we played against Porto, I think he was their best player.
"I'm looking forward to meeting him, speaking with him and to be here [for] whatever he wants. I'm pretty sure he will help us a lot.
"Obviously I didn't mark him but I really like his skills. He really goes for one against one, he didn't think too much. I like him a lot as a player.
"I like it when a player doesn't think too much and goes direct to score himself and to try to do something for his team. Hopefully I will see it here also. He's an incredible player."
Given their four year age difference, many have tipped Diaz to eventually become Sadio Mane's replacement once the Senegal star's best days are behind him.
Mane is currently 29 and sees his current Reds contract expire come the end of next season with very little talk of a renewal at the moment.
By the time Diaz has arrived, Liverpool could also be boosted by the returns of both Thiago Alcantara and Harvey Elliot.
The Reds welcome Championship outfit Cardiff City to Anfield on Sunday for the FA Cup fourth round in a clash that could present the perfect time to hand Diaz his debut.
