Luis Diaz leaves Liverpool training camp in Dubai after injury setback

Luis Diaz has left Liverpool's mid-season training camp in Dubai after suffering a setback in his recovery from a knee injury.

Diaz hasn't featured for the Reds since sustaining a knee problem during the first half of the 3-2 Premier League defeat at Arsenal on October 9.

The winger didn't require surgery and subsequently underwent rehabilitation both in his home country of Colombia and at the AXA Training Centre before travelling with Liverpool for their training camp in Dubai earlier this week where he was expected to make his comeback in the forthcoming friendlies against Lyon and AC Milan.

Carlo Ancelotti makes exciting Darwin Nunez prediction as Liverpool striker included in 'new wave' claim

Darwin Nunez has been praised by Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, with the Italian insisting he is part of a 'new wave' of attacking talent.

The Uruguayan striker has hit the ground running following his summer move, hitting the net nine times in 18 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side. Returning following Uruguay's exit from the World Cup, the 23-year-old will hope to spearhead Liverpool's attack in the second half of the season as the Reds chase down an all-important top-four spot.

Following on from his tenuous links with Real Madrid over the past few days, it is former Everton boss Ancelotti who has praised the former Benfica man, with the Italian suggesting a new crop of exciting forwards destined to hit the top in the years to come.
