New signing Luis Diaz has explained why he's chosen to wear the No.23 shirt for Liverpool.

The number has been worn by some club legends including Jamie Carragher and Robbie Fowler, but more recently by Emre Can and Xherdan Shaqiri.

No.23 has been vacant since Shaqiri's departure to French side Lyon in the summer and will now be worn by the Colombia international.
