News of Mohamed Salah's new contract this summer was exactly what Liverpool supporters were hoping for on the back of endless speculation surrounding the future of the prolific forward.
The Egyptian, who was set to depart on a free transfer next summer, put pen to paper on a new three-year deal to keep him at Anfield on the back of Sadio Mane's somewhat surprising departure.
Salah kick-started the new campaign with a goal in a 3-1 Community Shield victory over Manchester City at the end of July and has found the back of the net on 14 occasions in all competition so far this term.

Jordan Henderson has fallen five places from 2021/22 and Diogo Jota, who was the fifth most selected name for a shirt print, has strangely disappeared from the top ten altogether.
