Brondby skipper Luis Binks admits he can't wait to make his Scotland debut after his side suffered their fourth defeat in a row.
The Danish-based defender was named in Sebastien Pocognoli's squad and is in line to make his international bow during Scotland's batch of four Nations League games.
However, his side crashed to their fourth loss in a row when they went down to FC Copenhagen at the weekend.
And Binks is looking forward to putting that behind him and playing for Scotland.
The 25-year-old said: "I'm delighted to be selected for the Scotland national team.
"It's been a long-term goal of mine, so for it to happen now is great.
"When I got the call, I was completely pumped. The new Scotland national coach called me on FaceTime to tell me.
"Things just aren't going our way at the moment at Brondby.
"At the beginning of the season we won four in a row and now we've lost four in a row.
"When you lose a game, your confidence takes a hit.
"We need to get back to winning ways when the international break is over. I'm not sure whether it's good timing for the club or not."
