Residents have slammed plans to convert an eyesore into a multi-storey development as "ludicrous" and "completely out of character", but some can see the positive side.
The derelict site in Bunny Lane, Keyworth, which was formerly used by the Royal British Legion, is subject to proposals for 37 apartments.
Six retail units, five office spaces and 27 parking spots are also planned for the three-storey building.
