Lucy Fallon has given her fans an honest update on being a mum after welcoming her first child earlier this year. The former Coronation Street star was glowing as she posted a new selfie to Instagram and admitted that she's feeling more like herself again.
Lucy, who hails from Blackpool, officially introduced her first child, Sonny Jude, to the world at the end of February weeks after his arrival. The actress, who played Bethany Platt in the ITV soap from 2015 to 2022, and her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson announced earlier in February that their baby boy had safely been born on January 30.
Sharing the news, Lucy posted a sweet black and white image of herself and Ryan onto Instagram as she cradled their precious bundle of joy. "Our beautiful boy," she captioned the photo alongside his birthdate.

The new mum has since been basking in her newborn bubble with her baby boy just days away from being three-months-old. And taking to Instagram this week, Lucy appeared to suggest she had found the motherhood groove as she posed for a selfie.
Lucy looked fresh-faced as she posed for the camera in a white t-shirt as she accessorised with some silver jewellery and pulled her blond locks back into an updo with strange left to loosely hang and frame her face.
"Starting to feel more like moi again," Lucy typed alongside the gorgeous image. "If ur in the thick of newborn chaos - it gets so much easier," she then added to her fellow new mums. And fans were quick to praise her for her message of support as well as show her some love in return.
@mrsnikkicarmichael said: "I honestly wish that someone had said this to me after I gave birth and I lost my s**t. Everyone just acted totally normal, no one said anything and it was like it was my problem to deal with. So thank you for acknowledging the struggle ." @rachaelcatriona wrote: "My children are 5 and 1 and I am still in a perpetual haze. Hats off to you."
@blacklotusbeauty shared: "Takes time but you do get there eventually don’t you. I feel like when you get to 2 the chaos lasts a bit longer! Still waiting for it to stop 10 months on haha. You look incredible mama." @ginacarpenito added: "You’re glowing."
At the same time, Lucy also took to her Instagram Story to update her followers on her current passport drama. While she has managed to get a passport for her baby son ahead of a planned holiday as a new family of three with her partner Ryan, Lucy is facing issues and branded herself 'embarrassing' for her latest desperate move.
"It's making me laugh how many people are messaging me to ask about my passport," Lucy said in a video as she spoke directly to the camera. "Just click off this if this is p*****g you off because it's p*****g me off at this point. But, I emailed the local MP. I am embarrassed.
"I am embarrassing myself. I emailed her and she replied. She was nice and then suddenly she was like, 'I can't do anything to help you'. And I was like, right, I've embarrassed myself in front of Parliament, basically. So I don't know, there's nothing else I can do. If anybody's got Rishi [Sunak's] number let me know."
