A lottery player has come forward to claim the £54m EuroMillions jackpot.
The ticket holder matched the numbers on Friday's draw to scoop £54,957,242.50. The ticket will now be validated by Camelot UK and it will then be up to the player to decide if they go public.
If the win is confirmed, it would be the third EuroMillions jackpot won in the UK in 2022, the Mirror reports. It follows from an anonymous holder in February who won £109m and Joe and Jess Thwaite in May who scooped £184m.

Camelot’s Andy Carter - Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery - said: "It’s been an amazing year for National Lottery players and we’re delighted the huge £54m jackpot has been claimed. Our focus is now on supporting the ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win.
"There is another chance for a big UK winner tomorrow night (Tuesday 21 June) when there is an estimated £122m EuroMillions jackpot up for grabs."
