A lucky grandfather has won a stunning £2million dream villa in Marbella.
Mark, 57, scooped a lavish three-story, four-bedroom luxury villa in the holiday hotspot in Spain.
He paid just £25 for the ticket in the first ever Omaze Million Pound House “Superdraw”.
The legal consultant, originally from Wigan but who now lives in Devon, had entered nine previous Omaze draws.
He said the Marbella villa was a case of “tenth time lucky” but admitted he’d never even been to Marbella and did not tell his wife, Deborah, 55, he had bought a ticket.
Mark, who is not revealing his surname, said: “I couldn’t believe it when Omaze called me to say I’d won.
“I was out of the country with work so called my wife straightaway. She was even more flabbergasted than I was as she had no idea I’d even entered.
“I’d never won so much as a church raffle before, so this is mind boggling. I love my job, but to know I could retire tomorrow is an incredible feeling.”
On top of the stunning villa, Mark bagged £250,000 in cash and local estate agents believe the property could make him another £100,000 a year in rent.
As well as making Mark a multi-millionaire, the Marbella Superdraw also raised £800,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Mark added: “The villa looks absolutely marvellous. We’ll probably keep it for a couple of years so we can enjoy family holidays there so I’ll be dusting off my trunks.
"I’ll have to brush up on my Spanish, but I do know how to order a cerveza.”
